Team Butterflies!

This past weekend Sarah had her last soccer game. She ended the season with scoring another goal yesterday, learning about soccer, having fun, and becoming great friends with 5 other girls.

After the soccer game, they had a party at Coach Chris' house. They handed out awards and had lunch. Wanted to share a
few pictures of the day-
On a side note...Wanted to give you an update on my mom. We have received the news about her recent scan. The cancer is rapidly growing in the liver. They are trying one more chemo drug. (She took drug this past Friday) This drug has been known to go into liver failure at any time. It will take close observation and lots of blood work from her doctors to keep an eye on her. When this does happen Hospice will be called in.

I appreciate all the words of encouragement and lifting up in your prayers. They are felt. My prayer for right now- would be to have as many good days as I can with my mom and be able to enjoy them. Also pray that when the time comes that God gives Karl & I the words to say to Sarah and explain what has happened.

Thank you again, for all the prayers. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day 2011

Wow! Has it really been that long since my last post?
Sorry for the delay. Mother's Day was wonderful!
On Friday, Sarah's school had a Mother's Day Tea. Each of the kids planted a flower and painted a picture. It was so sweet! Here are a few pics:

On Saturday we got a chance to go out to eat with my sister and her family and my parents. My mom was feeling o.k. and it was a good excuse for her to get out and go to Beach Road Chicken! (The best fried chicken ever!)

Sunday, we relaxed at home.

Karl and Sarah surprised me with breakfast
in bed! Homemade chocolate chip waffles- Sarah's request!

Got a chance to do some shopping at the outlets and got my mother's day gifts. Coach purse, and clothes at Ann Taylor. The rest of the day was just relaxing around the house.

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family! I love being a wife and mother to Karl & Sarah. I only hope to be as good of a mother and my mom is!

Please be in pray for her...she had a scan last week and her cancer markers are back up again! She is loosing strength- We are very blessed that we are in Jacksonville to help out.

Sarah's 5th Birthday

I know....2 months later, I am finally posting Sarah's birthday. It's been crazy in the Ross house. We decided to have a big party at the house this year complete with bounce house galore- The kids loved it. Karl set it up that morning, and Sarah was still jumping at 7 pm that night. Karl & I even got in on the action. We were hurting the next morning. Here are a few pics from the great day!

Sarah wanted a Mickey Mouse theme party. My good friend from work made her cake- It turned out awesome!

I am in shock she has turned "5". I have just signed her up for kindergarten this past week. Time flys by so quickly. We are just trying to freeze this time- and enjoy every minute of it. Love to you all-
Jenny

Camping out in the Backyard

Sarah got a tent and sleeping bag this year from Santa Claus. We have been waiting for warm weather for her & Karl to have a camp-out. This past weekend was great weather-

Christmas 2010

Wow! It's been a busy few days.

We have been enjoying the last few days with lots of famiy & friends celebrating Christmas. We started off Christmas Eve, going to our church at 5pm for the Christmas Eve service. After church we went over to Tony & Barbara's(a.k.a. Pop & Grammy) for a wonderful dinner. It was extra fun this year becuase Bill & Carol and their little girl Hayley was here from South Carolina! We enjoyed making Gingerbread houses, singing "Happy Birthday to Jesus", getting our christmas pajamas on, and opening presents. Below are a few pics from Christmas Eve-

All of the kids in their matching PJ's-
Christmas morning, we left to go to Gainesville. We had a great time playing with our cousins:Esther, Luke, Ellie, & Issac. Below are a few pics of the day.
We finally did get all the kids for a picture- not too bad-
Uncle Mike & Ellie
All of the stockings were hung...and a day is not complete, without a picture with our Babi!

We had a wonderful Christmas, spending time with lots of family. I still have more pictures to post of the rest of the week. We are going back to Gainesville, to see more of Karl's family then going to the zoo the end of the week! I'll post more pictures later!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

This month is flying by....
Just wanted to share a few pictures from Sarah's Christmas program at school. She is such a social butterfly and loves being on stage(not like her Momma & Daddy)

I am realizing my little girl is growing up. It was sort of sad today- today was the last Christmas program she will have at the Learning Tree- next year she will be in kindergarten. Wow! How times flys by so quickly. My baby is growing up into a sweet, caring little girl. Wanting to give away her toys to girls & boys that don't have anything, wanting to drop money into the Salvation Army Kettle, and wanting to give hugs & kisses to Mamma & Daddy.

Sarah & her teacher Ms. Laney

We are looking forward to next week & celebrating Christmas with lots of family! We will be in Jacksonville till Christmas morning- then off to Gainesville to be with Karl's family. All of Karl's brothers & sisters are going to be in town. It will be a blast celebrating with everyone especially since there is 2 more babies to add to the family- Ellie & Issac!
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! I will post more pictures in a few days. Santa is coming to our house a little early- to drop off a BIG surprise for Sarah!
Love-
