Christmas 2010

Wow! It's been a busy few days.

We have been enjoying the last few days with lots of famiy & friends celebrating Christmas. We started off Christmas Eve, going to our church at 5pm for the Christmas Eve service. After church we went over to Tony & Barbara's(a.k.a. Pop & Grammy) for a wonderful dinner. It was extra fun this year becuase Bill & Carol and their little girl Hayley was here from South Carolina! We enjoyed making Gingerbread houses, singing "Happy Birthday to Jesus", getting our christmas pajamas on, and opening presents. Below are a few pics from Christmas Eve-

All of the kids in their matching PJ's-
Christmas morning, we left to go to Gainesville. We had a great time playing with our cousins:Esther, Luke, Ellie, & Issac. Below are a few pics of the day.
We finally did get all the kids for a picture- not too bad-
Uncle Mike & Ellie
All of the stockings were hung...and a day is not complete, without a picture with our Babi!

We had a wonderful Christmas, spending time with lots of family. I still have more pictures to post of the rest of the week. We are going back to Gainesville, to see more of Karl's family then going to the zoo the end of the week! I'll post more pictures later!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

This month is flying by....
Just wanted to share a few pictures from Sarah's Christmas program at school. She is such a social butterfly and loves being on stage(not like her Momma & Daddy)

I am realizing my little girl is growing up. It was sort of sad today- today was the last Christmas program she will have at the Learning Tree- next year she will be in kindergarten. Wow! How times flys by so quickly. My baby is growing up into a sweet, caring little girl. Wanting to give away her toys to girls & boys that don't have anything, wanting to drop money into the Salvation Army Kettle, and wanting to give hugs & kisses to Mamma & Daddy.

Sarah & her teacher Ms. Laney

We are looking forward to next week & celebrating Christmas with lots of family! We will be in Jacksonville till Christmas morning- then off to Gainesville to be with Karl's family. All of Karl's brothers & sisters are going to be in town. It will be a blast celebrating with everyone especially since there is 2 more babies to add to the family- Ellie & Issac!
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! I will post more pictures in a few days. Santa is coming to our house a little early- to drop off a BIG surprise for Sarah!
Love-

It's Busy around here!

Am I the only one, that is in shock that Thanksgiving is next week! I also just realized I never posted pictures from Sarah's halloween party at school and also some family fun!

Sarah had a parade at school- she was the cutiest kitty cat there! Sarah with one of her buddies!

Later on that day, we went to a Family Fall Fun Night at church. We are so blessed to be part of such a wonderful church family. We had a great dinner, put together and made our own scarecrow, and had praise & worship. Wanted you all to meet the newest member of the Ross family "Gator".

I am so blessed and thankful for such a wonderful family. Check back to see more pics from Thanksgiving!
Love to you all-Jenny

Conner's Amazing Acres

This past weekend, Sarah went to a birthday party for one of her friends at school. It was out in Callahan. It was a long drive, but worth it! We had a blast. Here are a few pictures: Sarah played on the bails of hay, rode the cow train, and found a tractor to take for a spin.

Sarah & her buddies from school

Cow train- notice how dirty she was:

When we got home I was finding hay in her hair, corn in her shoes, and other places!

I love this time of the year. I am finishing up decorating at the house. When I finish, I'll post our pictures of our scarecrows & pumpkins.

Things are going great in the Ross house! Just really busy with day to day life. Sarah is doing great in school and learning a lot! She is quite the social butterfly and maintains her social calendar with plenty of birthday parties!

As I was creating this post I realized the school pictures were never posted. Below are the 1st day of VPK at the Learning Tree!

Sarah was very proud of her pink glitter shoes, she wanted me to take a picture just of the shoes. She is going to be like her mama when she gets older! A girl has got to have her shoes!

Hope everyone is doing well! We our friends in Gainesville. We will be back homecoming weekend. Would love to see everyone! Love-Jenny

This past weekend, Karl and I got a chance to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary and enjoy a wonderful dinner at the Chart House in downtown Jacksonville. We had wonderful babysitters- Yia Yia & Papa. Sarah had a blast spending the night!

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. God has truly blessed us in so many ways. We have experienced so much in the short 8 years, and looking forward to many more.

After the parade, we raced over to Gainesville to spend some time with Karl's parents. We got to Gainesville in just enough time for Rebekah's Baby shower. Karl's sister and husband are having a baby boy in October. We are so excited for them. They have been in Florida this past week. It was great spending time with them. They will be moving back to Gainesville in a few weeks!

We ended the weekend with sparklers on Sunday night. Sarah was not so sure of them at first, but then really enjoyed it!

It's Grilling Time!

Karl wanted to grill his Father's Day dinner, so I had to take a cute picture of him & Sarah going out to the grill and cook!

This & That

The past few weeks have been crazy with Sarah finishing up school, the summer starting, and us finding a new home! We will be closing on our new home July 30! We can't wait. It's going to be a busy summer.

For Father's Day we decided to spend it with Jenny's family. We celebrated Father's Day, Yia Yia's birthday, and Jenny's birthday. We went to the club for lunch and swimming. We had a blast. We are so blessed to be close to family and to enjoy times together!

I hope everyone is having a great summer, we look forward to seeing you all this summer. If you are ever near Jacksonville, stop by and see us! We have plenty of room!

Sarah's 1st Dentist Appointment

Well Sarah had her first dentist appointment this past week. We prepared all week for the appointment. We read our Dora visits the dentist book, and talked about it a lot!!! Sarah did great at the appointment. She saw Dr. Setzer, this was Jenny's dentist when she was a little girl! Sarah was so excited to watch television in the waiting room, look at all the pretty fish in the fish tank, watch movies on the ceiling, and wear special earphones. She was a complete angel. Her teeth look great, and had no cavities! Yeah for Sarah!

I only took one picture while at the doctor's office. I did not want to be that crazy woman, taking pictures! As we were leaving, there was another Mom taking pictures of her little girl. I guess I'm not that crazy after all! Besides, you will only be able to experience so many "1sts".

Just a side note- wanted to ask everyone to pray for my mom. She got results this past week from another scan and it does not look good. The cancer has grown, and also is started to spread to more places in the liver and spine. We know God is in control, and he is the healer. Pray for my family as we journey through this time in our life. I am so blessed that we are in Jacksonville now to be able to help with whatever needs to be done. We will update when we know more. She is starting aggressive chemo treatments next week.

Love to you all!
Jenny
