Karl has been busy this past spring planting our very own garden!  We are growing tomatoes, cucumber, squash, beans, carrots, and lettuce.

We have been enjoying eating all the fresh veggies!  Wanted to post a few pics of the "fruits of Karl's labor".

The only big upset was there has been some bugs that have gotten to the tomatoes.  We had to throw out about 20 tomatoes tonight, and the below picture were the only ones left!

The tooth fairy has been very busy in our house.  The past 2 nights the tooth fairy has visited and brought $.

Sarah is such a blessing.  She will be out of school in less than 2 weeks.  She is so excited to be a 1st grader!  My little girl is growing up!

Don't you just love the reminders God gives us every day?  This hydrangea my mom gave us about a year ago. The plant was not doing well, and mom had no room in her garden.  She knew we were planting some flowers in our backyard.  Pretty much looking at the plant, there was no hope.  My mom was an awesome gardener...she could make anything grow, but something was wrong with this plant.  Karl planted it with all the others but we had no hope.

This past spring, we could tell the leaves started getting green and bigger..  A few weeks ago the first bloom came!  It was beautiful!  I cut of the bloom and went and visited momma's grave.  It was fitting that Momma got to see the first bloom.

The plant now is blooming and getting bigger and bigger every day.  I am enjoying being able to look out our back window and see the beautiful flowers, reminding me of Momma.

Momma, I miss you everyday.  I wish I could hear your voice one more time.....but I know you are here in our hearts.  I love you!

Wow!  Can't believe it's been almost a year since I posted to the blog.

It has been a crazy year with Sarah starting a new school, starting kindergarten, and dealing with my mom's death.

Mother's Day is this weekend.  I remember I spent the day with momma and had lunch with her.  I can't believe a year has gone by.....  Everything around me reminds me of her.  Especially the beautiful flowers growing in my yard, they are hers!  When they started to bloom, I immediately thought of her and her "green thumb".  It's going to be a hard weekend, but with God's strength I will get through this.  Momma is smiling down on us now. Momma I miss you more and more every day!  If I could just hear your sweet voice, one more time.....

We are looking forward to a great summer!  Just wanted to say Hi and I'm back!  Watch out for some pictures this weekend!
